Cross Creek Women’s Golf League
Enjoy female camaraderie and fun of league play!
Cross Creek Women’s Golf League (CCWGA) is open to the public. We invite all ladies to join us. Our core purpose is the promotion of golf across our community, whether Cross Creek Golf Club members, local residents or simply causal players.
League is held on Tuesdays. Our morning tee times begin at 9:00 am and afternoon tee times begin at 4:45 pm. We play on Cross Creek Golf Club’s Biggs Kreigh 18 hole course. Each week we play nine holes, rotating between the first nine one week and the second nine the following week.
The league is single player competition based upon stroke play. All players achieve a handicap. All matches are played based upon respective handicaps, making the weekly competitions fair for players of all skill levels. The full slate of weekly one on one matches are randomly established and communicated at the beginning of each season. The matches may be played head to head, but this is not mandatory.
League dues are $30 for the year. The dues includes The Betty Terveer league kickoff scramble and luncheon, the $5 weekly game (e.g. low gross, low net, fewest putts, etcetera), and cash prizes awarded at the end of the year Fall Banquet.
Our league is proud to sponsor “Carol’s Drive” in August, an 18-hole, all women scramble with proceeds donated to local women’s charities. Please go to the CCWGA Events page on this website to view all Ladies Events for 2021.
